Legionella Control Association

The Legionella Control Association ensures that contractors dealing with water systems where Legionella is a risk are competent specialists.  The Code of Conduct for Service Providers has been put together by a working party drawn from the British Association for Chemical Specialities and the Water Management Society in close consultation with the Health and Safety Executive. It is referred to in the HSE document L8 "Legionnaires' Disease, The control of legionella bacteria in water systems: Approved Code of Practice and Guidance".

SSIP is recognised by a large and growing number of buyers within the construction industry.
